Executive Management
Scott Spector has been a member of the executive management teams of major M&E companies, cloud providers and professional systems companies supporting global workflows, streaming platforms, professional audio, emerging technology, live events, music production, consumer electronics, digital cinema, digital cinematography, virtual reality, 3D and feature film production.

​As Co-CEO of I-Connexion, owned by Amblin Entertainment, he has developed postproduction collaboration systems for Steven Spielberg allowing him to manage feature film post production centrally from the Universal Studios Lot location to post facilities and studios worldwide.
​
He has also managed New Technology Ventures for Steven Spielberg and Amblin Entertainment including New Studio I-Connexion. I-Connexion systems were utilized for Mission Impossible II (Cruise/Wagner 2000), Minority Report (Amblin Entertainment 2001) and AI-Artificial Intelligence (Amblin Entertainment 2001).

Scott Spector has managed global emerging technology, cognitive, VR, AI, professional audio, broadcast video and streaming music/video/OTT divisions for global companies including Sony Broadcast, Sony Professional Audio, JVC Professional, Barco Digital Cinema, Verizon Digital Media Services (VDMS), Mattel Electronics, IBM, Pioneer Electronics, AWS and Amazon Studios.

In addition, he has managed deployment of virtual reality and 3D Digital Cinema in the US and Worldwide alongside organizations and leaders including James Cameron (LightStorm), Peter Jackson (Weta Digital), LucasFilm (George Lucas), Disney, IMAX, Technicolor, Deluxe, RealD, Dolby and many others.
Mr. Spector managed deployment of the first 3D digital cinema feature animation film in conjunction with The Walt Disney Company Executive Management for Chicken Little in RealD 3D.
Major Artists

Mr. Spector has been a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) voting on the Grammys each year since 1982 working on leading film scoring and recording artist projects.
Recording artists, producers and projects include Loverboy, Frank Sinatra, Dan Fogelberg, David Foster, Quincy Jones, Tom Allom (Def Leppard, Loverboy), Bruce Botnick, Kenny Loggins, Elliot Scheiner, Judas Priest, Beach Boys, Lionel Richie, Culture Club, Steve Levine, Steve Miller, Stevie Wonder, Bryan Adams, Stephen Pearcy (RATT), Bill Drescher (Rick Springfield), Frank Zappa, Allen Sides and Luther Vandross.
He has also received Platinum and Gold RIAA Awards for work on leading recording projects, live events and recording engineering work.
Over the years , Mr. Spector has worked at many of the worlds leading live venues and recording studios including Power Station, Oceanway Recording, Record Plant, Sunset Sound, Little Mountain Sound, Sound City, Capitol Records Studios, House of Blues and many others,
Corporate Development

Mr. Spector has developed new ventures as part of the executive management team of major M&E companies during three (3) decades in the M&E industry. At Verizon, we supported the acquisition and deployment of AOL, Edgecast, Uplynk and Intel Media,
At I-Connexion, a Division of Amblin Entertainment and DreamWorks SKG, he launched new technology companies supporting feature film postproduction and studio executive collaboration via broadband fiber systems.

Mr. Spector has extensive leadership experience managing recording artsists and establishing new M&E industry ventures working alongside Entertainment Law Firms as well as major Investment Banking Groups including Montgomery & Company which managed DreamWorks SKG Financial Underwriting.
Board of Directors

Mr. Spector has served on the Board of Directors of leading entertainment industry companies. He has also served on the Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) Board of Directors at USC.
As a Board Member of the ETC, he has worked closely with M&E Industry CEO's, CTO's and CIO's on emerging technology initiatives that affect the entire M&E industry business models and ecosystems.
Companies serving on the ETC Board included Disney/ABC, 20th Century Fox Film, Warner Bros Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Disney Studios and many others.
